Grading with Dr. Vance

What to expect

Account security: this tool runs on Google's Gemini infrastructure. For the link to work correctly, your browser MUST already be signed in to a Google/Gemini account before you open the exam room.

The exam room interface: once inside, you'll see a chat window. Don't type — find the [+] button on the left of the input box to upload your audio file.

Before you start

  • Requirement 1: Sign in to Google/Gemini BEFORE tapping the access button, or the link will fail.
  • Requirement 2: Dr. Vance ONLY GRADES ORIGINAL AUDIO FILES. Typed text or voice-chat will not be assessed.

Step by step

    Have your IELTS Speaking answer recording ready (.mp3, .wav, .m4a).

    Open a new tab and make sure you're signed in to your Google account (gemini.google.com).

  3. 3

    Come back here and tap the access button below to open Dr. Vance's exam room.

  4. 4

    In Dr. Vance's interface, tap the [+] icon on the left of the chat box to upload your recording and wait for your score report.
